ARTICLE STUDY: WHITE BUTTON DOWN

A study I did on the bassic white button down shirt. I feel that developing a tenderness and connection with fabric in the absence of pins and needles is very important. I'm not sure what I captured in this clothing study besides a new dress to wear...

Winter is Blue

DECEMBER MOOD BOARD

i have books full of books that beg me to be finished, and every night i am forced to put them to bed knowing the feeling of an unfulfilled thought. and it’s funny how my bones race to tell you everything, shout it all to this mute , dull morning. but the beautiful will always be here, even when it coincides with the sadness. together they may evolve to a stunning harmony. A symphony of colors hidden in the fallen autumn leaves; only perceivable to a barren heart with holes throughout its netting. The ceiling of this butterfly catcher is a dreary place to rest

PIGEONS & PEACOCKS

Did my monthly dose of magazine shopping last night... Since I do not have a working scanner at the moment, the excitement of my mags' got the best of me and I took pictures with my phone. Oh, I am loving everything about these images rom the concepts to the colors. While I am on the subject of concepts/ colors I really need to say something regarding fashion and materialism...

In no way does fashion and materialism automatically mean the samething. It is about devouring the the texture and weight of fabric. Taking in the art of how light hits a material from every angle. Neither money nor price is what makes a woman chic, it is the poise and originality. Quality does mean something, and sometimes the quality and the pricing of an item are confused and both thrown under the label of "materialism". It is a constant look out for that item of clothing that can inspire an entire week. Fashion is about the concepts and vision behind a collection, not merely what trend is "in" and what is "out".
